23 серпня у режимі онлайн відбудеться другий саміт Кримскьої платформи. Президент України Володимир Зеленський вказав, що цьогоріч саміт буде ще сильнішим, ніж минулого року – і за складом учасників, і за тематикою обговорення, адже значно розширене формат заходу.
Міністр закордонних справ України Дмитро Кулеба повідомив, що у саміті візьмуть участь близько 60 країн та міжнародних організацій, серед них близько 40 на рівні президентів та прем'єр-міністрів. При цьому в установчому саміті, що пройшов у 2021 році, брали участь 46 делегацій: 15 були представлені на рівні глав держав, урядів та парламентів та ще 3 – на рівні керівників міжнародних інституцій.
«Саміт Кримської платформи особливо актуальний зараз, на тлі повномасштабної війни. Російська агресія демонструє, наскільки гостро стоїть питання завершення окупації Криму. Адже росія використовує захоплений півострів як військову базу для своєї агресії та дестабілізації всього світу. Повернення Криму під контроль України гарантуватиме безпеку всього Чорноморського регіону, Європи та світу. Той факт, що кількість учасників Саміту Кримської платформи зросла більш, ніж на третину, а географія участі стала по-справжньому глобальною, свідчить, що весь світ на боці України в питанні повернення Криму», – заявив Кулеба.
Заступниця міністра Кулеби, Еміне Джапарова візначила, що питання деокупації Криму перейшло з площини необхідності захисту базових принципів міжнародного права у площину нагальної потреби захисту безпеки та стабільності континенту, саме тому цей саміт такий важливий. «Він засвідчить міжнародну політичну підтримку нашої держави. А вона є основою для готовності партнерів надавати і розширювати економічну, гуманітарну і безпекову допомогу, спрямовану на відновлення територіальної цілісності України, у тому числі контролю над Кримом», - вказала перша заступниця глави МЗС України напереддень саміту.
Більш того, за словами Джапарової, саміт підтвердить, що партнери підтримують позицію України про необхідність звільнення півострова. Що жодних перспектив для росії змусити нас на якийсь територіальний компроміс за рахунок Криму не існує.
Постійний Представник Президента України в АР Крим Таміла Ташева відзначила, що Кримська платформа продовжує активно працювати задля консолідації міжнародної політики невизнання будь-якої зміни міжнародно-правового статусу Криму; підвищення ефективності санкцій, їх посилення та запобігання спробам обходу; захисту прав людини та сприяння дотриманню норм міжнародного гуманітарного права; забезпечення безпеки судноплавства в Азово-Чорноморському регіоні та за його межами, захист принципу свободи навігації; подолання негативних наслідків окупації.

Crimean Platform Expands the Work Format
On August 23, the Second Summit of the Crimean Platform will be held online. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, indicated that this year’s Summit will be even stronger than last year’s, both in terms of the composition of the participants and the topics of discussion, as the format of the event has been significantly expanded.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that about 60 countries and international organizations will take part in the Summit, including about 40 at the level of presidents and prime ministers. At the same time, 46 delegations took part in the constituent Summit held in 2021: 15 were represented at the level of heads of state, governments and parliaments, and 3 more at the level of heads of international institutions.
“The Summit of the Crimean Platform is especially relevant now, against the background of a full-scale war. Russian aggression demonstrates how urgent the issue of ending the occupation of Crimea is. After all, Russia uses the captured peninsula as a military base for its aggression and destabilization of the whole world. The return of Crimea under the control of Ukraine will guarantee the security of the entire Black Sea region, Europe and the world. The fact that the number of participants of the Summit of the Crimean Platform increased by more than a third, and the geography of participation became truly global, shows that the whole world is on the side of Ukraine in the issue of the return of Crimea,” said Kuleba.
Kuleba’s deputy minister, Emine Dzhaparova, noted that the issue of the deoccupation of Crimea has moved from the level of the need to protect the basic principles of international law to the level of the urgent need to protect the security and stability of the continent, which is why this summit is so important. “He will testify to the international political support of our state. And it is the basis for the readiness of partners to provide and expand economic, humanitarian and security assistance aimed at restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine, including control over Crimea,” the first deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine indicated on the eve of the Summit.
Moreover, according to Dzhaparova, the summit will confirm that the partners support Ukraine’s position on the need to liberate the peninsula. That there are no prospects for Russia to force us into some territorial compromise at the expense of the Crimea.
The Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the AR of Crimea, Tamila Tasheva, noted that the Crimean Platform continues to actively work for the consolidation of the international policy of non-recognition of any change in the international legal status of the Crimea; increasing the effectiveness of sanctions, strengthening them and preventing circumvention attempts; protection of human rights and promotion of compliance with the norms of international humanitarian law; ensuring the safety of shipping in the Azov-Black Sea region and beyond, protecting the principle of freedom of navigation; overcoming the negative consequences of the occupation.
