Наразі російська пропаганда масово поширює «новини» про норвезького громадянина Хендріка Вебера, якій з 2014 року активно використовується росіьйскими спецслужбами у просуванні протиправного «кримського порядку» денного та наразі отримав від Путіна орден «Дружби народів».
Після 2014 року Вебер неодноразово протиправно приїжджав до окупованого Криму та підконтрольних російським силам регіонів Донбасу. Він був ключовим учасником низки пропагандистських заходів, таких як проведена російським посольством у Норвегії «конференція» «Крим у геополітичній перспективі» та є ключовим персонажем підконтрольної росіянам фейкової організації «Народна дипломатія – Норвегія».
Вебер презентує себе як нібито «журналіст» та «автор книжок» написаних за наративами Кремля а тому увага агресора до його персонажа не дивує. Звісно він може виступати із злочинними заявами лише «сам від себе», про що неодноразово заявляли норвезькі посадовці.
Звісно увага Кремля «хоча б до якогось норвежця», за умов загального невеликого впливу агресора на політику цієї європеської країни виглядає трагікомічно.
Водночас варто нагадати, що Вебер у 2019 році був обраним місцевим депутатом від партії «Rødt» («Червоні») у раді муніципалітету Альвер, розташованого в Вестланді – одному із західних районів Норвегії.
Увага російських спецслужб саме до цього району не випадкова, адже біля комуни Альвер знаходиться містечко Восс, де розташоване норвезький військовий табір, який останніми роками був зимовим навчальним центром для союзників по НАТО, та де розташоване відповідний аеропорт.
Партія «Rødt» є лівацькою політичною силою маоїстського толку та тривалий час була маргінальною. Водночас у 2017 році партія отримала одного депутата у норвезькому парламенті, а у 2021 році таких депутатів стало вже вісім.
Після скандалів із Вебером він був виключеним з цієї партії та наразі «Rødt» та її лідер Бьернар Мокснес засудили російську агресію як загарбницьку війну та пропонують Норвегії видати «міжнародний ордер на арешт Путіна і покарати його за війну». Крім того росіяне зацікавлені у дестабілізації норвезької нафтовидобувної промисловості , і за цими напрямами інтереси Кремля та спонсорів «Rødt» можуть бути дуже близькі.
